The Florida Department of Health (DOH) has designated February 10th “V Day,” the day when smallpox vaccination begins for smallpox response teams throughout the state. This begins Stage 1 of Operation Vaccinate Florida, the state’s response to the President’s announcement of smallpox vaccination, made December 13, 2002.
